General Guidelines for the Book Study:

Each study group must consist of at least three people. We have more than a dozen teachers interested in reading Dream Class, so we can create sub groups with minimum three teachers to accommodate different schedules/needs if we need to.

Location and Time: Study groups can meet before/after school, or both.
Study groups can read/meet/work during the school day in PLT any day except Wednesday.

Duration: In order to earn credit, our study group must meet at least five times over the course of three months.

Link with PDP Goals: Ideally our learning and applying new information from Dream Class (and supplemental materials) should compliment our Individual Professional Development Plans.

Informal Action Research Project: Does the book inspire you? Consider a small action research project to measure your growth/your student's growth! Activities related to the book can include, but are not limited to:
-lesson plan development incorporating new learning
-review of related literature
-peer observation/discussion of new techniques being implemented
-follow-up discussions
